The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the day-to-day CNA services for assigned unit to assure that care is being rendered in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Provide licensed nursing care to residents on assigned unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
Direct the day-to-day functions of the certified nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern long term care facilities. Must provide licensed nursing care to residents on assigned units in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Oversee L.P.N services as assigned by DON or ADON. Dispense medications as ordered by attending physician in accordance with facility policies.
