Job Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care in post-acute facilities in the Providence area
• Working directly with residents and medical teams to develop care plans
• Administering accurate medications and treatments to residents
• Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
• Drawing fluid samples for lab work
• Educating residents and family members on care options
• Consulting with doctors and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Ensuring the accurate documentation of medical interventions and condition histories
• Maintaining resident care compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
• Assisting with incident investigations and ensuring accurate reporting
• Supervising and training nursing staff, including licensed and vocational nurses and nursing assistants

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of an approved nursing program
• Applicable Registered nurse (RN) state license
• At least 4 months’ experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
