The 2022 Virginia Health Care Association/Center for Assisted Living (VHCA/VCAL) Convention & Trade Show will be held from September 12-15th at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, VA.
VHCA/VCAL’s Convention & Trade Show is the gathering and premier education forum for Virginia’s long term care leaders. Join us this year for a great lineup of educational sessions, networking opportunities, social events, and fundraising for VHCA PAC. After connecting in person, you’ll leave energized about your commitment to quality care and aware of the latest trends and emerging issues.
VHCA-VCAL’s Trade Show is a convenient, interactive forum where you can learn about the innovative products and services available to make sure your residents and patients receive the highest quality care.
Given that providers are covered under the CMS vaccine mandate and most of our associate members are also vaccinated, VHCA-VCAL’s updated safety protocols are:
1. We will not require proof of vaccination or otherwise ask about vaccine status.
2. Masks will be encouraged but not required. Per CDC guidance, masks should be worn indoors in public when the COVID-19 Community Level is High. We ask that anyone not vaccinated please wear a mask.
3. Meetings held on-site at a long term care facility must follow the host facility’s protocols.
(Subject to change).

They’re proud of their role as the Commonwealth’s largest association representing long term care. VHCA/VCAL’s strength, effectiveness, and integrity are significantly enhanced by the diversity of its membership which includes proprietary, non-profit, and government-operated facilities dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. VHCA-VCAL conducts legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of its members on reimbursement and compliance issues and provides accredited continuing education for long term care administrators.
