Texas Health Care Association (THCA) 72nd Annual Convention & Trade Show

Join us at the Texas Health Care Association (THCA) 72nd Annual Convention & Trade Show, held at the exciting Grand Hyatt San Antonio Riverwalk from September 12th – 14th!
The Texas Health Care Association (THCA) has represented long-term care providers in the state for over 70 years and currently serves for-profit and non-profit skilled nursing centers, nursing homes, specialized rehabilitation facilities, and assisted living communities. On average, 600 long term care executives, administrators, staff, and business members, across the long-term care industry attend the convention and trade show.
Education sessions will be submitted for continuing education participant hours to NAB/NCERS and to the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP). THCA is an approved CNE provider of continuing nursing professional development by the Alabama State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. We are also registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a CPE Sponsor and recognized as an approved provider for the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners and by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) to offer SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP professional development credits (PDCs).
The mission of the Texas Health Care Association (THCA) is to unite, represent, and support professionals who strive to improve the delivery, quality, and integrity of long term healthcare services.
Their objectives are:
- To continually refine and develop membership services that meet the needs of both state and national Association members
- To build consumer alliances and regulatory partnerships
- To advocate for appropriate funding for resident well-being
- To advocate for a fair enforcement and litigation environment in which providers can meet the needs of their residents
- To provide education about the long term care profession
- To develop and participate in efforts to improve and measure the quality of long term healthcare services
