National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) Annual Conference

The National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) 70th Anniversary Annual Conference will feature workshops, networking opportunities, speakers, and various educational sessions for nursing students. This conference will be held in the Spring at the Salt Palace Convention Center, and explores specialty nursing areas and various education workshops for nursing students. NSNA invites you and your colleagues to join us and get ready to network with nursing students from across the country, learn from top nursing leaders, prepare for your future profession, and have some fun.

Over 3,000 nursing students participate in NSNA’s Annual Convention, which features leadership and career development activities, opportunities to listen to renowned nursing leaders, hear about job opportunities and the chance to network with hundreds of other students. The program includes a state board exam mini review.

It’s easy and fun to attend NSNA’s 70th Anniversary Convention! You will have the opportunity to learn new skill sets and test taking strategies while attending multiple education sessions including a live NCLEX-RN Review. You will meet NSNA leaders including the Board of Directors, Nominating and Elections Committee, and the chair of the Resolutions Committee. The Annual Convention will be a place where you can network with students across the USA; gain skills to manage state and local chapters; master test taking skills while learning clinical judgement—and much, much more!

Exhibits provide opportunities for you to meet with exhibitors from a variety of employment and academic settings, NCLEX vendors and publishers. Visit with poster presenters and even participate in yoga. Also, receive expert advice for career development including interview skills, resume building, and future education opportunities. A special program for faculty to earn contact hours is also planned. IntelyCare will be one of these exhibitors at booth #127.

The National Student Nurses Association (NSNA)’s mission is to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, and to convey the standards, ethics, and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession. Founded in 1952, NSNA is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. The organization has 60,000 members in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

NSNA’s Board of Directors is made up of 9 nursing students who are elected at the organization’s Annual Convention and one ex-officio Board member elected by the Council of State Presidents. Two non-voting consultants are appointed by the American Nurses Association and the National League for Nurses to provide guidance. NSNA also employs a full-time staff headquartered in Brooklyn, NY.
