North Carolina Directors of Nursing Association (NCDONA) 26th Annual Conference

The North Carolina Directors of Nursing Association (NCDONA) 26th Annual Conference will begin on the morning of Wednesday, September 14th and end
on the evening of Friday September 16th. The theme for the North Carolina Directors of Nursing Association (NCDONA) 26th Annual Conference 2022 is “Walk By Faith” in honor and memory of Amanda Kistler. A scholarship fund has been set up through NCDONA to provide opportunities for nurse leaders in NC to obtain Certifications through our National Organization. This fund will also provide NC leaders with assistance to future state and National conferences. You will be able to make direct donations or purchase items with proceeds going directly to this fund. Scholarship applications will be available in 2023. Thank you for your support of Amanda’s mission to advance LTC.

The Annual Multistate Conference will begin on Wednesday morning, September 14th, and end on the afternoon of Friday, September 16th. It is being held at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. 

They want to keep everyone as safe as possible but feel it is very important for our nurse leaders to be educated, updated, and allowed some time for relaxation. They have exciting speakers with continuing education opportunities for nurses and administrators. You deserve a few days away and only NADONA knows what you go through every day–now more than ever! Wednesday evening, they will host an informal gathering on the north lawn, weather permitting– with heavy hors d’oeuvres. Thursday afternoon and Friday morning will be the vendor exhibits. Enjoy networking with vendors and other long-term care professionals to learn about new products and services.  Thursday evening will be free for you to enjoy some of what Myrtle Beach has to offer.

Bring your business cards to register for great prizes in the vendor hall. NCDONA will also be having impromptu giveaways during the sessions. All breakfast and lunch meals will be provided.
