Illinois Health Care Association’s (IHCA) 72nd Annual Convention & Expo

The last two years have been full of trials and tribulations for the long term care profession. In addition to the issues long term care providers are continuously faced with—intense media and public scrutiny, residents with increasingly advanced care needs, an ever-evolving regulatory environment—the COVID pandemic brought about new challenges and even more negativity from the public at large. But through all of this, long term care providers didn’t give up. They persevered. The slogan for this year’s Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA) 72nd Annual Convention & Expo is Long Term Care Survivors: Providing Quality Care in Times of Crisis.

This slogan, and the Survivor theme, were chosen as a tribute to the dedicated professionals who faced these challenges head on and worked hard to protect and care for their tribes—the residents who call their facilities home and their colleagues who have been there with them through it all. The strength and compassion they have exhibited throughout these difficult times has been truly inspiring.

Join us September 12 – 15, 2022 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, and to partake in all of the various learning and networking opportunities we have to offer, as well as discover what’s new in goods and services at the expo. We hope to see you there!

The Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA) has been a major voice for long term care in Illinois for more than 70 years! Currently we represent nearly 450 members across the continuum of care.
