COVID-19 Testing Requirements

Do I need to get tested for COVID-19?

The short answer? Yes.

While there is no official regulation for COVID-19 testing at the federal level, states have begun to release minimum baseline testing requirements for nursing home staff. At IntelyCare, we believe all states will soon mandate that all healthcare professionals are tested for COVID-19 on a regular basis.

We urge IntelyPros to receive a COVID-19 baseline test based on your state’s guidelines and upload those results to your IntelyCare profile. State-specific guidelines can be found here.

IntelyCare will not pay or reimburse for testing – however, most testing locations are offering the service to healthcare professionals for free.

We also encourage you to contact your local or state health department to seek availability of tests. States with statewide orders to test may have preferred vendors or specific guidance on testing protocols.
